We would also like to announce that the registration for August 2010 LAN is

Registration to pay for your seat for the upcoming event. Seats will be
going fast so sign up soon. Remember, you get an extra blue ticket for
every month you register before the LAN, so if registered and paid today
you’d get 5 extra blue tickets, and if you buy a survival kit, you would
get a total of 6 bonus blue tickets.
If you paid for your seat at the last event, please go through the normal
registration process and cancel out of the PayPal screen, the staff will
manually add you to the seating chart. If you preregistered and want to
upgrade to a survival kit, please pay for it and we’ll refund the
difference.

The 'big' prize is still under discussion but we are certainly open to suggestions. Keep in mind that the price point should be similar to the Dell Studio One 19" prize and should be inline with something that gamers would want.

I have some of EVGA's stuff "motherboard/video cards" and thought why not fire off an email to them about a swag sponsorship or something for you guys. I included the website name and even an email address of you guys.

And i got an email back from them in minutes with a few questions. I thought they would just contact you directly. I can answer the first two questions as they are straight forwards, but i'm stuck on the third.

Could one of you give me a hand?

How many blue tickets would I get if I paid at the last lan? Should be 6 right, since its 6 months between lans?

Splatter, I'm sure your enthusiasm is appreciated, but contacting sponsors should probably be left to the staff.

If people have ideas for potential sponsors, or contacts at companies that would make good sponsors, they should probably just pass that information on to the people whose job it is to handle sponsor relations.

And as for your question Defiler, everyone who signed up at the last LAN will get 6 Blue tickets for having signed up 6 months in advance and those who signed up for M.R.E., Alpha and Bravo kits (and yes, we had several) in advance will get 7 as those kits come with an extra ticket!
