Since registration opened a little later this time around, anyone who registers between now (11/13/11, 6:00PM) and next Sunday (11/20/11, 11:59PM) will be given six (6) blue tickets, just as if they had registered back in August, since we know you would have if you could have, right? After next Sunday, things will go back to normal, with one (1) blue ticket being granted for each month you register in advance of the event.

PS: There's rumors floating around that a BIG prize is being looked into, so keep an eye out on the web page and forums – there might be an announce in the future!

Is there anywhere that lists the tournaments that will be happening and possibly the prizes along with those tournaments?

Not yet. 30cal is working on the final list. It will probably be similar to our last lan. Most of the games will stay the same, but the rules may change. Once we have the full list of games/rules it will all be posted at once.

We do prizes a bit differently. Tournament winners get a dog tag for that tournament. There are a few player sponsored tournaments where the player tosses up their own prize for that tournament. You may also get a 30some odd inch pizza.

We also have this thing called blue tickets. if you win a tournament, you get a blue ticket. if you participate in any tournament, you get a blue ticket. If you register early, you get blue tickets. We then give away many of our prizes as blue ticket items. You can pick which items you want to try to win with you blue tickets. We do this for items like video cards or ram to help make sure the person that wins the prize can actually use it. We also tend to make some of the bigger prizes like Solid State Drives blue ticket items as an incentive to try and win blue tickets.

I've dropped this into the Volume One calendars too. I assume you'll run out of seats by the time we get to print (ideally, right?). But even so the readership can find it in the online calendars, and even if you're booked up, people are still reading about it.

Since I read the tourneys are essentially the same as last AWOL LAN, I assume there will be little to no League of Legends component? Sad panda brigade.

Actually we did run a "non-official/semi-official" LoL tourney and at the last meeting it sounded like it will be making a return but since I am not the Tournament Director I can't say for sure.. but, decent chance.. They guy who ran the non-official one for August is now the tournament director for AWOL
