Hello AWOL,

With the LAN now less than a month away, we wanted to take this time to
send out one last email update to let you know about a few important
changes and to give a shout out to our generous sponsors who are supporting
AWOL 20 with some awesome prizes!

First off, we have had some changes to the survival kits offered since AWOL
18 that are very different from what we have offered in the past. If you
weren't at 19, please check the forum post linked below and read it
carefully as it explains the details about how SK's have changed:
http://link.awollan.com/sk. As you probably noticed when you registered,
we have changed the seating chart since 18 as well to help make it easier
to navigate the room and give more personal space for everyone. As most of
you know, our tables are now 6’. This gives you exactly 3’ x 30” of space.
Please keep this in mind when choosing what to bring to the LAN. Also, one
of the biggest things we have to watch for is power consumption. Please
keep in mind that you are allotted 4 amps of power and that roughly equates
to 480 watts. This does NOT mean you need a < 480 watt PSU. You are
allowed to use 480 watts under load. If your machine draws more than that
you will likely cause a brownout on your circuit which is shared with up to
5 other people. Be assured that this WILL make others on the same circuit
angry at you. While we’re talking power, remember that you WILL need to
bring your own power strip. We suggest a power strip with a surge
suppressor, but remember not to bring UPS battery backups. The official
tournament list and rules have been posted in the forums as well. Please go

you are 17 years old or younger, you MUST bring with you to the event a
properly filed out and signed waiver. You may be asked to provide ID upon

Finally, you are allotted one IP / network connection. Remember that as per
our LAN FAQ’s, switches/routers are NOT allowed. Also, you do not need to
bring your own Ethernet cable as you will have one available right at your
